Peony and Roses Floral Hip Tattoo

The client had two red cherries on her hip that she wanted to cover up with some flowers. She specifically asked for a peony type of flower and some roses. I took a copy of the cherries and I created the design so that the two cherries would be disguised with two leaves. The rest of the floral design was created around that to suit the shape of her hip area. The idea of the cover-up is to draw the eye away from the two cherries and rather create focus on the all over design. Florals work really well for cover ups because the shapes are natural and can easily disguise a multitude of sins.  It is easy to hide a small tattoo under some leaves or petals.
