I am a tattoo artist currently working at Sally Mustang Tattoos in Cape Town. I am originally from Durban, South Africa. I’ve always had a passion for creating and I have refined my artistic abilities over the years. I have gained a solid foundation in the arts as I studied Art & Design in the Isle of Man, which included all forms of art from textiles to ceramics to jewelry design. Thereafter I worked as a vector based graphic designer for many years before I discovered the art of tattoos which had me captivated. I was blown away by how the quality of tattooing had advanced over the years and even more blown away by the evolution of tattoo art. I soon immersed myself into the world of tattooing.

My interest in art has always been heavily influenced by the natural world around us, inspired by plants, flowers and animals. My passion currently lies in creating floral and botanical based designs that will complement the flow of the human body when tattooed. I believe that each tattooed piece should be special and original, created and designed for that particular client. To me, the tattooing of botanical art and animals onto the skin symbolizes our undeniable connection with the natural world and our planet.
