Frangipani Floral Tattoo Cover up
The text “rebel flower” was not tattooed by me. She wanted to keep this because it had special meaning to her.
This client had some very faded and disjointed floral tattoos on the inside of her forearm which she wanted to enhance, cover-up and extend it upwards to her elbow. I used some parts of the existing faded florals and turned it into a new design that flowed better on her arm and added more leaves and swirls to fill up the empty spaces from her previous tattoo. She mainly wanted to add some frangipanis to the design and then just tied them in with the existing parts. Using floral elements for a cover-up is a really good idea because the shapes are natural and can be molded and shaped to fit the existing tattoo. Frangipani Floral Tattoo.
The idea of the cover-up is to draw the eye away from the existing tattoo and rather create focus on the all over design. It is easy to hide a small tattoos under some leaves or petals.
